Food and hospitality have been Jennifer’s lifelong passions. A graduate of the Iowa Culinary Institute, she brings experience in menu development, desserts, entertaining, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Her love of food and service has taken her beyond the kitchen—including cooking for Food at First, Manna Worldwide, and nearly 100 people during a recent mission trip to Torrent, Spain.

Inspired by her travels across the U.S. and Europe, Jennifer is excited to help make Finski’s a welcoming place for great food, laughter, and connection in Huxley. Her husband, Donnie, will be right alongside her as her biggest cheerleader, taste-tester, and resident dad-joke expert!

With nearly 20 years in the restaurant industry, Steven has built his career around his love of food, hospitality, and bringing people together. His journey includes opening franchises for Quiznos, Pancheros, and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, as well as creating McFly’s and later opening Whatcha Smokin BBQ + Brew.

Now, Steven is excited to bring that experience and passion to Finski’s in Huxley, creating a place where guests feel like they’re gathering in the home of friends. His wife, Erin, and daughter, Sofia, are his biggest supporters—and his in-house tasting panel!

Steven looks forward to welcoming new faces, reconnecting with longtime friends, and sharing great food and good times with the Huxley community.
